Zeitgeist is a German language expression translated as: Zeit, time; Geist, spirit, meaning "the spirit of the age" and it describes the intellectual, cultural, ethical and political climate, ambiance and morals of an era (similar to the English word mainstream) or also a trend.
Zeitgeist is also a movie by Peter Joseph examining a claimed prehistory of Christianity, theories of September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and other issues such as the monetary system, wars and other social elements.
